Sorry I have neglected the blog. Until we spoke last week I honestly had forgotten about the blog. So are I am through Chapter 4 on the required reading. The cases studies have been very interesting. Chapter 4 was probably the most challenging so far. It was dealing with curriculum decisions. It's probably the one area that a prospective administrator should read about most because those decisions remain primarily behind the scenes. Thanks for all you help!
I just read case 5-5, Jake's Classroom Mangement. Seems very unfortunate that Jake has been "left alone" in the classroom for so long. He is very out of touch with today's kids. I thought the assistant principal did everything he could to help. However, Jake did put him in a very bad postion by refusing his help!
